The SMCWBR14S-N2 is a wireless router with a single 10/100Base-T WAN port and four 10/100Base-T LAN ports.

The integrated access point complies with the IEEE 802.11n (Draft 2.0) standard with wireless transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps. It uses advanced MIMO (Multiple-In, Multiple-Out) technology to deliver higher speeds and wider range. This access point supports WMM (QoS), and WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. A WPS button allows for worry-free wireless security configuration.

The router supports VPN pass-through for IPSec, L2TP and PPTP. A built-in SPI firewall provides a reliable protection against hackers and Denial of Service (DoS) attacks.
